Astrology can be used as a framework for learning more about your own personality. In addition to your birth chart having the power to help you learn more about yourself, you can use the cosmos to help determine compatibility with romantic partners, learn the best way to relax, and even what to consider about goals. professionals. Although, clearly, astrology can be used for various applications, if you same If you want to get difficult and quick answers to your reflections, a technique can be particularly noticeable. According to the astrologer Nate Caradog, hourly astrology can help you use astrological energy as a means of predicting the future.

Hourly astrology is the map reading technique that answers a question based on what is happening on someone’s astrological chart at the time they ask a question to an astrologer. The astrologer, for his part, understands and consents to answer it, says Caradog. “The word time refers to hour, and we can think of the hourly chart as a clock that points to all the current dynamics of the situation and how they will unfold over time, ”he says.

As soon as the question is asked, the birth chart is created based on the date and time of the question. Then, the astrologer will assess the nature of the situation using the rules of classical astrology: one planet represents the person asking the question and other planets represent the other factors in question.

How does hourly astrology work?

Essentially, hourly astrology works using the transits and representations of the people or objects you are asking about on the birth chart. For example, if you are asking whether you and someone else are going to be reconciled after a disagreement, and both are represented by specific planets on the astral chart that is drawn, determining whether these planets are moving closer or further apart may indicate possible reconciliation or separation. If they are approaching, for example, the chart will help the astrologer to determine when they will be closest, and this may be the date of reconciliation. “The reason for this is that Horary is based on rules,” says Caradog. “You he must follow the rules to get an accurate result, and you should follow any set of rules you’re using consistently for a graph to make sense. ”

When was hourly astrology developed – and can you practice it yourself?

Caradog says that horary has been practiced since at least the Middle Ages. “The most important writer on hourly astrology in the English language was the astrologer William Lilly, who lived in the 17th century and published the work in three volumes Christian Astrology in 1647, ”he says. “In addition to being an incredibly complete manual on hourly astrology techniques, Christian Astrology includes 52 examples of hourly charts worked on for the types of questions Lilly received in her practice. ”

Over time, contemporary astrologers have continued to study the fundamentals of hourly astrology, offering it as a service to customers who need answers to urgent and specific questions. “It is certainly possible for someone to learn to practice hourly astrology on their own, but it would be a bit like being a self-taught painter – you can develop tremendous skill, but it must come through the practice and observation of the great in art,” says Caradog.

What questions can hourly astrology answer?

Caradog recommends asking questions that depend on specific results, such as “Will I get this specific job?” or “Where are my keys?” instead of more advice-based questions like “Should I take this job?” or “When will I fall in love?”

“In theory, the horary can answer any question, if the investigation is properly focused, the questioner is asking sincerely and the astrologer is comfortable and competent,” says Caradog. “But in practice, there are some issues that don’t work as well with time.” Each astrologer has different techniques and preferences, but Caradog says he only allows people to ask questions about topics in their lives that he is already familiar with. “There are questions that I don’t accept without a sufficient background on a situation and a decent level of relationship with the querent – especially on a sensitive issue such as death or illness,” he says. But, he adds, in general, the less variables the question has, the easier it will be to answer it accurately.

Caradog suggests that those who are new to hourly astrology ask questions that are personal (none of their business), urgent (there is a sense of urgency) and relevant (having the answer to the question will help them to make clear choices in response to it). “Never ask out of mere curiosity and never ask the same question twice,” he says. “You will not have a good read.”

How accurate is hourly astrology?

The accuracy of an hourly astrology reading depends on the client as much as the astrologer’s skill. “I cannot stress enough how important it is to identify exactly what you want to know is to get good results ”, he says. “When the question is vague, the graph is vague and the accuracy drastically decreases.” That said, a good astrologer should be able to help you focus your thoughts and get to the question that is most important to you. And if you are asking with the right intention, you can trust that the answer you will receive is the right one.

“The charts that I got wrong most of the time are charts for questions asked idly or lightly, with no real investment or desire to receive solid guidance,” says Caradog. But notice how Caradog specifies he is the one who was wrong on the maps, not that the stars themselves were inaccurate. This formulation was intentional, he says: “Astrology is always right – but the astrologer’s mileage can vary”.
